Cristiana Lungu (Monilola Olayioye group) has been awarded a CZS Meet & Work grant by the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung. The fund promotes a close collaboration with the group of Agnieszka Rawłuszko-Wieczorek (Poznan University of Medical Sciences, Poland). The scientists will make use of CRISPR edited 3D culture models to investigate in real time and at single cell level how epigenetic effectors modulate the hypoxic response of colorectal cancer cells.
